Its competition time !

Thanks to the people at Aer Arann were pleased to announce were giving away a free pair of return flights to any Aer Arann destination in the UK or Ireland. It came about a little like this …. we needed a competition at very short notice…..

We called them and said “would you do a free flights giveaway ?” to which they replied “yes”

to which we replied “What just like that?” to which they said “Yes” …
“Any catches ?”
“No”
“Any hidden charges, like the ones you get flying budget, like €53.50 to use the toilet, or a €13.50 surcharge for anyone checking-in wearing a blue blazer on a Tuesday?”

“No, never, if your bringing a surfboard just call in advance and you can fly to anywhere in the UK and Ireland.”

To enter yourself for the tickets please leave a comment stating where you would go and what you would do should you win !

The competition will close at midnight on Wednesday August 5th.

The ten best comments will be placed in a hat and a winner drawn on Thursday August 6th – good luck !

    I would love to go to Cardiff because it is where they make Torchwood the Dr Who spinoff. There is a Dr who exhibition on there at the moment I would love to see it. Please.

    My friend just moved over to London to work and we have known each other since we were four so it would be the perfect trip to go and visit her!

    I regularly fly Aer Arann to Derry to visit my family in Portrush. I love getting from Dublin city to the beach on a Friday after workand Aer Arann makes it possible! So I’d love a trip home especially with the weather they’ve been having.

    I’d love to return to Edinburgh, to visit my best friend Sam. She’s flying Aer Arann to visit me today, and I’d love to return the favour and see her before Christmas, so I can enjoy her excellent company, the gorgeous city lit up for the holiday, and the fabulous Scottish countryside.

    Edinburgh for me, top city, top people, good bars, good food and great architecture – and if your with your mates and your stuck for laughs there’s the comedy festival as well.

    PS – saw your piece in the independent and laughed because I am one of those people who doesn’t want to pay for things. Should I repent my ways ?

    Hi guys, would definately have to be London. First time in London this year in June for 20th wedding anniversary. It was fab. Would love to go back. It’s a great city for eating out, siteseeing and shopping. The best. :-)

    iv never won anything in my Life, and just this morning found out i won tickets to a show in london, i cant believe it, im so excited , iv never been to london , but i cant wait to go and see everything. when i saw this competition, i thought maybe my luck is changing, so il enter, hopefully il win and then all il have to pay for is accomodation, wouldnt that b a nice cheap break in a recession. :)

    It would have to be Blackpool. Never been there but a load of my friends have and absolutley loved. Can’t afford a holiday this year so I’m in the last chance saloon!! ;-)
