Its competition time !
Thanks to the people at Aer Arann were pleased to announce were giving away a free pair of return flights to any Aer Arann destination in the UK or Ireland. It came about a little like this …. we needed a competition at very short notice…..
We called them and said “would you do a free flights giveaway ?” to which they replied “yes”
to which we replied “What just like that?” to which they said “Yes” …
“Any catches ?”
“No”
“Any hidden charges, like the ones you get flying budget, like €53.50 to use the toilet, or a €13.50 surcharge for anyone checking-in wearing a blue blazer on a Tuesday?”
“No, never, if your bringing a surfboard just call in advance and you can fly to anywhere in the UK and Ireland.”
You can have a look at where Aer Arann fly to by clicking the routemap or visiting their website.
To enter yourself for the tickets please leave a comment stating where you would go and what you would do should you win !
The competition will close at midnight on Wednesday August 5th.

Dear Fellow Savvy-Shopperites,
Oh how I wish I could whisk you all away from the doom and gloom that is our lives but alas I can only bring my one and only girlfriend, the wonderful and lovely herself.
On our Aer Arann flight from Dublin we could dream away the miles to sunny Luton. (I’m sure the sun shines there). There we could carelessly collect our luggage and stroll out into the sunshine on a little train journey into central London.
There the lovely herself will shop and shop and maybe a little sightseeing. As she watches Bridget Jones every week (verging on the brink of obsession – I know every word of it. EVERY SINGLE WORD) we will stop for a little photo at her flat and have a drink in the pub below it in Southwark. Then Harrods. And then more Harrods. And maybe some Selfrdges.
Having an Aer Arann hub on our doorstep here in Dublin could be our own little gateway to herself-happiness!
