In case he didn’t catch the not very subtle hints you’ve been throwing him, the five star Hayfield Manor Hotel in Cork might just be able to rescue the romance – they got in touch to offer a free Valentines package to a SavvyShopper reader.
You and your significant other will receive overnight accommodation in one of the Manor Rooms, a five course gourmet dinner on the night, the famous Irish Breakfast next morning as well as luxuries like full access to the Beautique which includes a gym, indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and steam room.
If this kind of opulent, decadent, hedonistic luxury isn’t really your thing we understand, but if you would like to go leave a comment here and we’ll pick a winner next Saturday February 6th .
Incidentally, if you would rather not leave it to fate the five star valentines package is available for €125pps and you can get more details at the Hayfield Manor Hotel Website.
Good luck !

I would adore this! My hubbie has been brilliant – taking care of me after recent surgery. He was so kind and caring..he really gave Florence Nightingale a run for her money! I’d LOVE to treat him to this relaxing romantic breakaway as a special ‘thank you’ …he’s my angel and he really deserves a special treat.

My mum and dad have been together for over 35yrs, all 5 sprogs have grown out and left the nest so its just the two of them left behind, they’ve been a great couple and although they have their moments with bickering to each other (typical married old couple) as we giggle at them, we know deep down they love each other and stuck together through thick and thin, and most of all have been the best parents anyone could ask for (doesnt every daughter or son think that of their parents) so for that I would love to win them a lovely romantic valentines night in the Mayfield Manor He calls her “Queen B” and the Mayfield would be the perfect palace for her
Love your site xx -

i’m suffering with the worst cold I’ve ever had in my life, streaming eyes, red runny nose, chapped lips and my hair three days overdue a wash. My loyal beloved is really taking care of me, he makes a mean “Jemsip” and is feeding me tea and sympathy even though I look like Godzilla. After this I think a romantic break is just what the doctor ordered.

Hi,without sounding too much like a sad novel , i would love to be ale to give this wonderfull treat to my big sis (josephine) and her hubby(peter) they have both had a tough time over the last six months or so Peter only 46 was diagonised with a rare form of arthritis of the spine on both ends (thats the rare part)! He will therefore most likley never be able to work again(a guy who was a driver of heavy duty machinery)Anyway enough of the sad bit, would love it for them.
Cheers your site looks great ,
Roz.
