Fans of Avoca may be interested to hear that they are currently running cookery demonstrations every Tuesday throughout February in the Fernhouse Cafe at Kilmacanogue.
Demonstrations start at 9.45am and cost €10 per person or €25 including a two course tasting lunch.

TSS towers got very excited when we found out about the vintage market and tea party that’s happening on Saturday February 5th in Waterford.
There’ll be clothing stalls selling vintage sunnies, chanel suits, 1980’s sportswear and food stalls selling jams ,chutneys, breads, and cakes.
There’ll also be a jazz due and they’ll be showing old movies….. If they play A Tree Grows in Brooklyn I might hop on the train !

The annual twelve days of Christmas Market will be taking place in the Dublin docklands from December 12th to 23rd.
Expect lots of foodie and gift stalls and of course Santa ( although I’m now at an age where I have my doubts ).
We’ll be popping along to the Barracuda Barbie stall to sample the roast pork, sausage & potato platters and to Sheridans Cheesemongers for some of the good stuff (cheese that is!) …. in the event your christmas cheer needs a bit of a kick start I’m sure the hot mulled wine might get things moving.
